Hello summer break! Kids are home and that means moms spend most of their time in their kitchens.

I bake cookie all the time, the reason being - my kids.

They love to snack on good healthy cookies.

As a mom I always watch what they eat: how much sugar they take. Kids are not easy but pumped up with extra sugar, even harder.

Today we are making my new recipe that has no sugar. Instead I use more friendly agave syrup. It has low glycemic index and kids will never feel any difference.

I decorate my cookies with the seeds, but you don’t have to do it, you can add some dry berries inside or even roll it in coconut flakes.

You can have these cookies with some milk - it will make your day much better. Guaranteed! Ready?

Let’s start cooking!

We will need: (15 cookies)

1 cup (250 ml) - white spelt or white flour

1/2 cup of almond flour

1/2 cup of tahini

1/2 cup of agave syrup

1/2 tea spoon of baking powder

Sesame seeds for decoration

Mix together flours, baking powder and set aside.

In a separate bowl mix together agave and tahini. Should look thick and silky.

Add butter to the flour mixture. Going to look like this.

The thinner the cookies the crunchier if will be, so make about 15 small balls and place it in the fridge for 15 minutes. Will be easier to work with slightly cooler dough.

Roll each ball in the seeds, then smash it with the glass. If you dip the bottom of your glass in the flour it will make the process easier - nothing will stick to it. You can make your cookies in any shape and form don’t have to copy me.

Bake your cookies at 170C/330F for 15 minutes.

Ready when slightly golden.

Let it cool completely.

Ready! Serve! No sugar and super healthy.

Enjoy!
