Ready? Set? Let’s go cooking!
We will need:
2 cups (1 cup – 250 ml.) of whole oats
1 cup of lightly ground oats
1/2 cup of almonds
1/2 cup of sugar-free cocoa powder
50 ml. of coconut oil
4 tbsp. of agave syrup or honey + 2 teaspoons of brown sugar
4 dates (or 3 spoonfuls of raisins)
2 tbsp. of any chocolate or chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 150C / 300F.
Grind 1 cup of oats and almonds in a blender.
You need slightly ground almonds and oats.
The latter should not become flour. Mix them with the whole oats.
Mix the cocoa powder, butter, sugar and syrup in a cup and pour everything on the dry ingredients. It’s probably easier to mix with your hands, but using a spoon will be fine also. Make sure that all the dry composition is covered with chocolate.
Line a baking tray with baking paper and distribute the substance on it.
Be watchful while baking. Granola must be stirred regularly. Approximately every 5 minutes to ensure that it does not burn. Bake for 15 minutes, then turn off the oven and take it out. It will finally harden outside.
Cut the dates and chocolate chips.
Let the granola stand for a while and cool down.
Serve with milk or juice! Very tasty!
