Surprisingly, this is a real jam! Without cooking, without a huge amount of sugar, it’s even healthy, because it contains chia seeds, which, in turn, are rich in fats and calcium necessary for our health.
Chia seeds create the illusion of strawberry seeds, so our jam even externally does not differ from the regular one, and I’m not even talking about the taste: better try it yourself!
Ready? Set? Let’s go cooking!
We will need:
25 g of chia seeds
1 tbsp. of agave syrup or 1/4 tsp of stevia
1 teaspoon of lime or lemon juice
If you use frozen strawberries like me, then drain the excess fluid after defrosting.
Put the berries in the blender, add the juice, and agave syrup.
Pulse until pureed and add chia seeds.
Pulse for another 30 seconds, then pour the obtained mixture into a cup and let it brew for 1 hour. It should thicken.
Done! You can eat this jam with buns, ice cream or from the pot as a compote!
Tasty and healthy! Bon appetit!
