We are getting closer to the cold season. For some of us it’s all about coziness and cuddles by the fireplace, but for others- cold, flue and lots of rainy days at home. So to boost our immune system as well as the mood today we are making very simple but always delicious turmeric latte.  Healthy taste, happy colour, loads of benefits.


Turmeric has a huge inflammatory effect! It’s a powerful antioxidant that can help you fight cold and other inflammations.

For turmeric to be better absorbed by your blood stream you would need to add some black paper (compound call pipeline) to your latte- this is a must! 


You can add different flavours to your drink. I prefer to mix cinnamon and black peper. Gignger is also a great addition. You can boil it with the coconut milk, soy or any other milks you have. Since turmeric is fat soluble it breaks down in fat and better absorbed in a fatty milk then a regular plant milk.


I must admit, it takes a few times to fall in love with this drink but after you have done it, you are hooked forever! No unnecessary caffein, just a delicious drink to keep us warm and healthy. Add some honey and cold weather will not matter anymore.


Ready? Let’s start cooking!

Will need:

1 tea spoon of turmeric

a pinch of finely grounded black pepper 

a pinch of ginger powder

a pinch of cinnamon 

1 cup of any milk you wish to you


Mix all the spices, measure 1 tea spoon.


Boil with some milk, whisking well.


Add honey.


Serve with some extra milk foam or whipped cream on top.
