Before, it seemed to me that ice cream could be made only from milk, but it looks like I was wrong.
Now I know for sure – you can make ice cream from almost anything!
Today, I’m offering you an absolutely amazing recipe!
No one will ever guess that it is made from beans. Delicate, sweet, with a berry note. Given the fact that vegans chronically suffer from a lack of protein, this ice cream is a godsend.
Beans, oats, berries… they are all very tasty and healthy.
Ready? Set? Let’s go cooking!
We will need: (8 servings)
1 very ripe banana
5 tbsp. of oats
225 g. White or any light beans (from a can or boiled)
2-3 tbsp. of blueberries (I use frozen)
3 tbsp. of honey
125 ml. of Almond, oat milk or any other milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Rinse the beans and mix them with oats, milk, honey, banana and vanilla to form a cream. Pour 1/3 of it into the molds.
Another 1/3, set aside, and the remaining 1/3 is mixed with blueberries for a berry layer.
Pour it into the molds.
Top with the remaining white composition.
Put in the freezer for 3 hours.
Everyone is happy!
