Who among us does not like strudel?
Warm, tastes like an apple, with raisins and a delicate aroma of cinnamon! Today, we are cooking a vegan version of everyone’s favorite dish.
There are no eggs, butter, yeast, no white sugar, and it’s surprisingly easy to cook.
Together with raisins, you can add walnuts or other dried fruits.
You can serve the hot strudel with a ball of ice cream on it or just sprinkle it with powdered sugar.

We will need:
For the dough
2 cups (1 cup – 250 ml) of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of water
1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup of vegetable oil
2-3 tbsp. of raisins
4 tbsp. of brown sugar
1 tsp. of cinnamon
1/4 tsp. of nutmeg
Mix everything for the dough.
I knead the dough with my hands for 3-5 minutes, after which I let it stand for 1 hour at room temperature
Peel and slice the apples. They will give some juice, do not drain it away.
Mix the apples with sugar, and spices. Add the raisins.
Roll out the dough and oil it with vegetable oil.
Distribute the filling.
Fold the strudel.
Line the baking sheet with baking paper. Sprinkle it with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon, oil it with vegan or ordinary oil.
Bake the strudel at 190C / 375F for 30-35 minutes.
