It’s so nice to finally get some warm weather and sunshine. It's getting hot outside so that means we need more cold and refreshing recipes.
Today I would like to show you an amazing cold orange cake. It’s very delicious, easy to make, healthy and definitely worth trying.
No sugar, gluten, the cake is vegan and actually raw.
Perfect for those who are on a diet and want to try something unusual.

We will need:
For the base
1/2 cup of gluten-free oats
1/2 cup of almonds
1/2 cup of golden raisins
1 table spoon of coconut oil
2 table spoons of orange juice
fresh orange peel (optional)
For the cream
Half of a large orange with the skin (if you have powerful blender)
1.1/4 cup of cashews
1/2 cup of golden raisins
1,5 cup of any plant based milk
Grind oats or buy prepared oat flour, add nuts, peel and blend together.
Add raisins and coconut oil. Add juice at the end. The texture should be slightly wet.
Spread it evenly, press down with your hand if needed.
Combine everything for the cream.
Should turn out smooth and silky. If you blender is not too powerful, I highly recommend you to soak your cashew nuts in a water before the preparation (for about 3 hours) and peel your orange.
Pour your cream over the base, then put it into the freezer for 4 hours.
Take the cake out after 4 hours, slice it evenly before the next freezing, so it’s ready to be enjoyed whenever you feel like it without any extra effort.

Подскажите, пожалуйста, сколько нужно кешью для крема? В составе опечатка 1.1/4 чашки. Это 1/4 чашки или 1 чашка? Спасибо!
