This is my old, but very favorite recipe, which rightfully has a permanent place in the hearts of my loved ones.
Simple, fairly sweet, and is prepared simply and without complex ingredients.
Biscotti is hard and crunchy and is wonderfully complemented with hot tea or coffee.
I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!
Ready? Set?
Let’s go cooking!
We will need: (12-16 pieces)
150 g of whole-wheat flour
100 g of all-purpose flour
1 cup (250 ml cup) of ground almonds
1/3 cup of whole almonds
1/3 cup of white sugar
1/2 tsp. of baking soda (I use baking powder)
2 tbsp. of honey or agave syrup
50 ml. of water
1/2 tsp of almond extract (optional)
Preheat the oven to 150C / 300F.
Grind 1 cup almonds, if you do not have ready-made almond meal.
Combine the flours, baking soda and sugar.
Cut the large remaining whole almonds.
Mix honey and water.
Together with the nuts, add to the dry composition and pour in the almond extract. This will add extra flavor to our biscotti. Remember that the dough should be a little dry. Line the baking sheet with baking paper.
Form a “log” and put it in the oven for 20 minutes. If you want your biscotti to be wide, then the log should be plump. Take it out, let it cool down.
Сut into portions with a sharp knife and put them back on the baking tray with open sides. Put back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Take out, allow to cool. The biscotti will harden from the outside.
Done!
Bon appetit!

Может на овсянную или цельнозерновую заменить ее?
