This is one of the most favorite pies of our family, for quite a while we just ate it, and I did not cook anything else sweet.

The cake is soft, slightly moist, fragrant and very tasty. The main thing is to use the right apples. They should be crisp and not overripe.

The insidiousness of this recipe is that when the pie is ready, it is almost impossible to stop after one piece.

It’s very easy to cook but even easier to eat! Hehe.

The pie turns out so tasty, that nobody will ever guess, that it is made without eggs.

For the sweet tooth, I advise you to serve the pie with a ball of ice cream.

Ready? Set? Let’s go cooking!

We will need: (1 large pie)

1 cup (250 ml) of all-purpose flour

1 cup whole wheat flour / whole wheat flour

1/2 tbsp. of baking soda (I use a baking powder)

200 g of white sugar

200-225 ml. of almond milk (any other suitable) + 1 tbsp. of vinegar

6 teaspoons of flaxseed meal + 8-9 tbsp. of water

2- 2.5 large apples without peel

3-4 tbsp. of brown sugar (I use sucanat)

1/2 tbsp. of cinnamon

Sugar powder (optional)

Vegetable oil for molds

Preheat the oven to 165C / 325F.

Soak the flaxseed meal until it becomes swollen. Add the vinegar to the milk and let it curdle. Mix the seed with the milk, add white sugar. Mix the two kinds of flour with the soda. Pour the liquid composition into the flour and mix.

Cut the apples into medium cubes.

Sprinkle with brown sugar, add cinnamon and mix thoroughly.

Lubricate the baking mold with oil.
Add apples into the dough, mix it and put it into the mold. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Done! Cool and serve! By the way, such a pie is tasty both cold and warm.

Not sure about you but I will take two slices, haha.
