If you get bored of your regular bread, make use of this recipe.

This ciabatta is perfect for any type of sandwiches.

It can be served warm or cold and is easy to store.

I even like to freeze it for later and the taste is still great after you thaw it.

It’s very soft, fluffy, you can add dry garlic to it while baking or spread some pesto topping on it later.

It’s so good!

Ready? Let’s start cooking!

We will need:

4 cups of spelt flour (1 cups - 250 ml )

2 cups of water

1,5 table spoons of dry yeast

1 table spoon of brown sugar

1 table spoon of olive oil

A pinch of salt

 Mix water with yeast.

Add sugar and salt. Add oil.

Add flour. Mix well, wet your hand to help the process.

Cover with plastic and leave for 1 hour.

It should double in size.

Heavily dust the surface you are going to work on.

Sprinkle the flour over your dough as well.

Cut it and carefully transfer to the pan. Don’t forget to use the baking sheet.

Bake for 30-35 minutes at 175C.

Cool down and serve!

Enjoy!
