These are officially my husband’s favourite cookies. OMG…the smell of them. Absolutely incredible!


They are so easy to make, consist of just a few ingredients and super healthy.


The trick is: you want it crunchy- add more butter you want them softer- add more water.

They have a great texture, lightly sweetened.


Add some powder sugar and wow- the miracle is here!

So good.


Makes about 18-20 cookies. It’s gluten free, vegan, delicious, healthy, yummy and very crunchy. My kids love them and yours will too. Let’s start cooking!

We will need:

1 cup (250 ml) of buckwheat flour

2 table spoons+  of vegan butter or regular butter (depends how crunchy you want your cookies)

1/3 of brown sugar

60 ml of water 

1/2 tablespoons spoon of baking powder 



Mix flour and sugar, add baking powder.


Add butter and water. Mix well.

Remember if you want your cookies crunchy add extra butter if you want them softer- add water.


The dough should be on a dry side. Form the ball and put in the fridge for 15 mins. It will make the work with dough easier.


Make cookies. Poke wholes with the fork.


Preheat your oven at 325F/165C. Bake for 25 mins or till golden. Shuffle cookies so they don’t burn.


Cool down, enjoy!
