I always have a lot of bananas at home. It is a “clean” fruit, which is important when it is eaten by children (no juice on the floor, seeds, etc.), delicious, contains a large amount of potassium. According to my calculations, my family eats up to 7 bananas per day! Incredible, huh? So it’s not surprising that in the store a lot of my basket is filled with bananas.
As we all know, bananas mature quickly, and it happens very often to me: I bought a lot but did not have time to eat them all. Today we have a recipe exactly for this case. Got extra bananas? Make chips out of them. Sugar and oil free, healthy and very tasty. Sweet as candies! My family was totally ecstatic.
Ready? Set? Let’s go cooking!
We will need:
2 ripe bananas
1/2 tsp of lemon juice
Preheat the oven to 95C / 200F.
Cut bananas into thin rings.
Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Line the baking sheet with baking paper and distribute the slices. Done! Put in the oven for 1.5 hours. The thin slices dry faster, so take them out before the rest and do not forget to flip the remaining ones so that they do not stick to the paper.
The chips will harden outside.
Bon appetit!
