This is one of my favorite scones!
Delicate, crunchy, very fragrant! 50% is composed of almonds, which makes them also quite healthy.
The strawberry gives an incredible aroma and adds a delicate berry note.
Such a dessert will perfectly complement the breakfast table and everyone will like it!
Ready? Set? Let’s go cooking.
We will need: (12-14 pieces)
1 cup of whole wheat flour + a little for rolling
1 cup of almonds
1/2 teaspoons of baking soda (I use baking powder)
4-5 tbsp. of white sugar
1/4 ml of almond or any other milk
1 tsp of table vinegar
2.5-3 tablespoons of coconut oil
1/4 tsp of almond extract
Preheat the oven to 150C / 300F.
Grind the nuts.
Add sugar, baking soda.
Combine it with the flour.
The almond extract has a very bright aroma that perfectly strengthens the nut smell, so I would not exclude it and added it to the dough.
Milk is mixed with vinegar and left to curdle.
Cut strawberries into small pieces and mix it into the dough.
Form a triangular (or any other shape).
Line the baking sheet with baking paper. Bake scones for 30-35 minutes. Done! Cool and serve!
