I prefer my bread warm, but it tastes amazing cold too.
I am sure that after reading all the above you’re ready to try this little wonder, right?
Let’s go cooking!
We will need:
1 cup (250 ml.) of white pearl quinoa
1 cup of gluten-free oats
1/3 cup of coconut oil (melted)
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1.1/3 cup of any plant based milk (I use rice milk)
1 table spoon of maple syrup (optional)
2 table spoons of apple vinegar
1/2 tea spoon of baking soda
1 tea spoon of baking powder
1 tea spoon of cinnamon
2 large apples (peeled) Warm up your oven to 165C/325F. Grind your quinoa to make a fine flour. Do the same with the oats. Mix your soda, flours, baking powder, sugar, spices. Separately mix milk, vinegar, oil, syrup. Combine dry ingredients with the wet ones. Cube your apples. I suggest to cube them very in small pieces so that your bred doesn’t not fall apart while slicing it when ready. Add your apples to the “dough”. Oil your pan.
Bake for 40 minutes. Let it cool if you can. It’s way too delicious! Slice it up and enjoy!
