The other day I called my friend:
– Anya, I’m not sure why but I’m feeling so melancholic…
– It’s winter, – she said confidently.
– What winter?! I live in California!
– Okay, then it’s a lack of chocolate, she laughed.
– Makes sense! I’m gonna go get myself back to normal, make myself a life-saving potion.
– Go on, just don’t forget to send me the recipe. Who knows maybe I’ll catch the same some day.
Happens to all of us, right? Bored, sad, and the soul asks for something – it just doesn’t know what.
My life-saving recipe for delicious chocolate is perfect for these days. I vouch for it!
This “potion” works immediately: improves the mood, warms the soul, you want to live again, and that’s just from one cup. What should I say about the extravaganza that comes after the second?
Hee-hee. Jokes aside, the recipe is really wonderful and very easy to prepare.
It is important to have a ripe avocado (but not overripe, so that there is no unnecessary smell) and a good cocoa powder.
That’s it! It’s so thick that the spoon stands in it. It’s fragrant, with a rich chocolate taste.
I like my chocolate very hot. And how do you like to drink it?
Ready? Set? Let’s go cooking!
We will need: (1 large serving)
1 cup (250 ml) soy or almond milk (can be replaced with any other)
2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar-free cocoa powder
1/2 large, ripe avocado
4 Tbsp. honey or 2 Tbsp. agave syrup
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Mix milk, avocado, cocoa powder, and syrup in a blender. If you use honey, it can be added at the end, before serving, so that during the heating, the honey does not lose its healthy properties.
Add vanilla and cinnamon.
Pour the mixture into a saucepan, put it on the stovetop, and bring to a boil. If you are in a hurry, pour the ingredients into a cup and heat it for 30-40 seconds in a microwave.
Done! An incredibly rich, thick, chocolatey, and delicious drink ready to warm you!
Bon appétit!, and once again – happy New Year!
