I eat salads regularly and because of this, I often experiment with them.
If I find some particularly delicious combination of ingredients, then I cling to it and start to cook my “masterpiece” from day to day.
Today is one of my favorite salads, which has already been appreciated by a large number of guests at my recent Halloween BBQ.
The salad became a hit: the guests began to ask for the recipe immediately, even before they finished the servings on their plates.
I think this is a good indicator!
Now you too can try my salad with a delicious mango, (which, by the way, can be frozen) and avocados. Simple, satisfying, very fragrant and incredibly useful.
Ready? Set? Let’s go cooking!
We will need:
1 serving of arugula
3/4 cup (1 cup – 250 ml.) of frozen or fresh mango
1/2 avocado
2 tbsp. of fresh red onion
6-8 roasted nuts almonds
1 tbsp. of dried cranberries
Vegetable oil (odorless)
Salt and pepper to taste
For the mango, you do not need to spend a lot of money on fresh fruit, you can buy frozen mango, defrost it a bit and cut into cubes. I personally do it just like that. By the time the other ingredients are ready, the mango will be defrosted and will perfectly complement your salad. Simple and easy! And no need to worry about immature fruits and the complexity of peeling them.
Cut the onion and avocado into cubes, and slightly grind nuts and cranberries. Mix in the greens, add the mangoes and drizzle with oil. Add salt and pepper. Done!
Very tasty and very fragrant!
Bon appetit!
