Vegan candy “Belochka” (gluten-free, sugar-free, raw)

There is one chocolate candy that every Russian remembers from their childhood – Belochka or if you want to translate it into English will be named Squirrel.
It has a very particular a bit crunchy texture and very nutty flavor.
Hazelnut plays the main role in it and, of course, the chocolate!
Who wouldn’t not like that?
I add a little bit of a raw buckwheat groats to play with the crunchiness. My candies have not sugar, consist of just a few ingredients, they are gluten-free and vegan. Holy, moly! Its a paradise for candy lovers!
Ready? Let’s go cooking!

We will need:

1 cup of gluten-free oats (250 ml.)

2/3 cup of hazelnuts

2/3 cup of dark raisins

1 table spoon of coconut oil

1-2 table spoons of raw buckwheat groats

1 tea spoon of maple syrup (optional)

Soak your raisins, then drain.
Grind oats or use store-bought oat flour.
Mix with nuts.
Add oil, syrup, raisins. You will get a bit sticky dough.
Add buckwheat.
Form candies and put then in the fridge for 15 min.
Make your chocolate and cover you candies with it.
