Today I’ll tell you about our new favorite waffles.
It simply can’t be described how fragrant and tasty they are.
These easy to cook and very appetizing waffles consist of several types of gluten-free flour, agave syrup and any milk of your choice.
Any of the appropriate types of all-purpose flour can be made at home. For this, I use a spice shredder, but you can use an ordinary coffee grinder. In my recipe, there is no sugar and excess starch, which culinary experts like to replace flour with in gluten-free recipes.
These waffles taste delicious when they are fresh and warm, but you can also store them in the refrigerator.
My personal secret! These Belgian waffles can be covered with melted chocolate, stored in a refrigerator and later be eaten cold.

We will need: (6 pieces)
1 cup (250 ml) of oats
1/2 cup of buckwheat flour
1/4 cup of coconut flour (can be replaced with garbanzo bean flour)
1/2 cups of brown or regular white rice flour
1/2 tsp. of baking soda (I use a baking powder)
1/2 tsp of agar-agar, guar or xanthan gum, (I use xanthane gum)
1/4 cup of vegetable oil (I use canola oil) + a little bit for the waffle iron
1/4 cup of agave syrup
1 tsp. of lemon juice
1.1/4 cups of almond or any other milk
Make all the flour. Buckwheat flour is made from green buckwheat, oat flour – from oats without gluten, coconut flour – from coconut flakes, rice flour – from rice. Just grind them to the consistency of flour, that’s it. Mix everything, add soda and the thickener. You can also add cinnamon or ginger to give the waffles a Christmas mood.
Combine the milk, juice, syrup and oil. Mix all wet ingredients with the dry ones.
Add the vanilla. I use alcohol-free vanilla since it has a very delicate natural flavor.
Grease the waffle iron with oil and bake our waffles.
Each waffle will be big enough – get ready for a hearty breakfast!
