Apple tarts (gluten-free, vegan)

Autumn is the season when I oftentimes feel like eating something with the apples.
I must admit: the sweet smell of baked apples with cinnamon makes me smile.
Today we are going to make an amazing, super healthy and very easy too cook apple tarts that will perfectly match my type of an autumn mood.
This recipe is gluten-free and has nothing but very clean ingredients.
Only the very healthy oats, walnuts, dates and apples.
It’s hard to believe but these tarts come out absolutely perfect!
Just look at them!
I promise, they will melt in your mouth.
Ready? Let’s go cooking.

We will need:

For the base

1/2 cup (1 cup -250 ml.) of gluten-free oats

3 table spoons of walnuts

2 dates

2 table spoons of melted coconut oil

For the filling

3 apples

3 table spoons of brown sugar

2 table spoons of maple syrup

2 table spoons of lemon juice

1/4 tea spoons of any starch or gum to your desire

Cinnamon, ginger

Warm up your oven to 165C/325F.
Grind your oats, nuts. Add dates, oil. You will have soft dough. Put it on the bottom of your pan.
Peel your apples. Sprinkle with some spices, sugar, add syrup. Let apples absorb all the flavors.
Put your filings in the pan and bake them for 35 minutes.
Apples must become quite brown.
That’s it!
Pour some syrup on top of the finished tarts and enjoy!
