Looks like almonds appear on my site too often, oh well. Today I offer you the easiest and fastest recipe for asparagus. Only eating it raw could be easier. It can be an independent garnish but it can’t completely satisfy the hunger, but as a side dish, will be perfect and will add to the variety of colors on the table.
Ready? Set? Let’s go cooking!
We will need: (2 servings)
12-15 medium green asparagus
1/2 tsp lemon juice
6-8 nuts almonds
1/2 tsp of chives
Salt and black pepper
3-5 tbsp. of vegetable oil (can be olive)
Trim the whitish tips of the asparagus. Pour the oil into a frying pan and fry the green parts for 3 minutes on one side, then 3 minutes on the other. The heat must be high, and the frying pan should be without a lid.
Sprinkle them with lemon juice, add pepper and onions. Fry for another 3 minutes on a lower heat. Grind the nuts into small pieces and add them to the asparagus. Fry for another 2 minutes. Do not forget to stir so that the nuts are not overcooked. The thinner the asparagus, the faster it will be cooked. Remember, it does not have to be soft! Done!
